Abstract

A new diterpenoid alkaloid, jaluenine (1), has been isolated from the roots of Aconitum jaluense. The structure of jaluenine was determined by spectroscopic methods including two dimensional NMR (¹H-¹H COSY, HMQC, HMBC, NOESY).
