Abstract
Two new flavonoids, compounds 1 and 2, together with seven known flavonoids, were isolated from Galium verum L. Their structures were elucidated as diosmetin 7-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-2)-[β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1–6)]-β-d-glucopyranoside (1) and 3,5,7,3′,4′,3″,5″,7″,3‴,4‴-decahydroxyl-[8-CH2-8″]-biflavone (2) by chemical methods and spectroscopic analyses. Compounds 3 and 4 were isolated from the genus Galium for the first time.
