Abstract

One new oleane-type triterpene saponin, named lysimachiagenoside A (1) and the known 21-O-angeloylbarringtogenol C (2) were isolated from the aerial parts of Lysimachia foenum-graecum Hance. 21-O-angeloylbarringtogenol C was a new natural product. These structures were identified on the basis of 1D- and 2D-NMR techniques, including 1H–1H COSY, HMQC, HMBC, TOCSY, and ROESY experiments as well as chemical methods.
