Abstract

Publishing in refereed international journals has become an important barometer for measuring academic and professional competence. The aim of this article is to assist potential authors on how to get their articles published in such journals. In this connection hints relating to editorial prerogatives, aims and characteristics of international journals and factors that could hamper success of publication are highlighted. Also included are Notes to Contributors and the Reviewers' Checklist used by the JOSAARMSE.
