Abstract

Arguably, the 2007–09 ongoing global financial crisis marked the true beginning of the 21st century. Consequently, the article explores the dynamics of the financial crisis in order to identify key research themes and concepts which will be essential for understanding the shifting work relations of the twenty-first century. Reflexively, these themes and concepts help us to understand the current financial crisis in more depth.
