2. This house was later purchased by Kim Bonython who resided there from 1955 until the completion of his new house in Leabrook in 1965 (also featured in the exhibition). Bonython built an addition to the Tennyson house to hang his collection of modern Australian paintings.

3. As an instrument to develop this research and promote public awareness, the University of Adelaide and State Library of South Australia have launched an online platform entitled Adelaide Modern/ADLmodern (https://adlmodern.com) which provides access to digital copies of archival drawings, plans, and other types of material related to the modern houses of Adelaide.
