The Hon Margaret McMurdo AC is the former President, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Queensland (1998–2017). She was the member at Griffith University Council in the period 2003–2013. Currently, she is Chair, Board of Legal Aid Queensland. In addition, she also serves as Inaugural Judge in Residence, Southern Cross University; and adjunct professor, TCBeirne School of Law, University of Queensland.
