Pages 25-32 | Published online: 07 Mar 2014

Abstract

This article describes an instructional system for pre-service educational technology courses, the rationale for using this teaching method, and student reaction to this system. The goal of this instructional method is to help pre-service elementary education students learn how to use computers and how to teach in computer labs. Students reacted both positively and negatively to this peer teaching and problem solving system on surveys administered at the end of the semesters where the method was employed.
