Abstract
As technology competencies grow, and as the need increases to engage students in creating their own learning, basic teacher education media courses need to develop alternatives to instructor-led, lecture-based formats. This paper presents the process of transforming lesson content from lecture-based format to instructional content delivered through the Web. It details the steps taken to make the Web site instructional and interactive rather than merely informational.
