ABSTRACT

Succinimide-N-sulfonic acid as an efficient Brönsted acid catalyzed the synthesis of pyrano[4,3-b]pyrans by using solar energy as a green source of energy under solvent-free conditions. This method has the advantages of high yield, short reaction time, and clean and simple methodology. The catalyst could be recycled without significant loss of activity.
