An Efficient One Pot Multicomponent Synthesis of Coumarino Pyrazolyl Thiazolidinones

Abstract

A series of coumarino pyrazolyl thiazolidinone derivatives (4a–k) have been synthesized via a one pot multicomponent reaction. The reaction of coumarino pyrazolaldehyde or 1-phenyl-3-(2H-1-benzopyran-2-one-3yl)-4-formylpyrazoles (1), thiosemicarbazide (2) and dialkylacetylene dicarboxylates (3) in presence of ethanol under reflux conditions gave the title compounds with good to excellent yields. All the synthesized compounds were fully characterized by their analytical and spectral data.
