Abstract
Gas chromatography-Fourier transform infrared spectrometry with a cryotrapping interface (CRYO-GC-FTIR) was used for the analysis of PACs. In a marine sediment sample, the identification of various PACs was possible in the lower nanogram to picogram range. The results of compound identification were in good agreement with those obtained by high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection (HPLC-Fluo).
