Abstract
A new numerical alternate linear nonlinear method is presented for solving the nonlinear parabolic partial differential equation, The method is applied to a prob-lem of fluid flow in two dimensions and the results are compared with previously published results obtained on a similar example. This method can be applied to the solution of similar problems encountered in other fields.
