Abstract

These days, thermal power and industrial processing rely heavily on solar energy. This study examines the heat dispersion in Casson nanofluid flow across an expanding cylinder by considering nano aggregate kinematics. Ethylene glycol-Cu nanofluid is deemed to boost the heat transfer competence of parabolic trough collector (PTSC). A stable magnetic field is used in the radial direction in the appearance of asymmetrical heat source/sink, radiative, and Joule heats. A mathematical model was developed and resolved using the Keller-box approach. Results are deliberated through pictorial and numerical evaluations for aggregation and non-aggregation cases. The improvement of the thermal field caused by nanoparticle aggregation is proven. It is also found that the surface drag and thermal transfer rate can be controlled by increasing the Darcy parameter.
