Abstract
This review focuses on the applications of chemiluminescence for the determination of petroleum products and covers the literature published in the last 5 years. The article has been divided into several sections, including specific applications to sulfur compounds, nitrogen compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as a brief section dedicated to imaging analysis. The possibilities and limitations of the chemiluminescence detection systems for this purpose are evaluated.
