ABSTRACT
An account of the evaluation carried out of the transition of students from full-time study into further education as part of their involvement in the Technical and Vocational Education Initiative (TVEI). An instrument for measuring the opinions of students about TVEI was developed and applied. Some of the factors considered are proximity, gender and attainment. The case is made for the use of such a procedure within transitional education.
