VI. SUMMARY
The theoretical and practical aspects of squarewave polarography and related techniques have been reviewed. From theoretical consideration, the sensitivity of these techniques depends upon the rise time of the cell-potentiostat combination. If this rise time is sufficiently fast, the sensitivity is limited by the DC capacitance current when using the D.M.E. When the H.M.D.E. is used, the sensitivity is limited by the pulse capacitance current or by electronic noise.
