ABSTRACT
Analysis of the oil Tagetes nojana Ferraro by GC/MS confirmed that (E)-tagetone (40.29%), (Z)-ocimenone (23.18%) and dihydrotagetone (15.44%) were the main components. Lesser amounts of (E)-β-ocimene (7.50%), (Z)-tagetone (4.49%) and (E)-ocimenone (4.58%) were also found in this oil.
