Abstract

Essential oil composition of leaves and stems of two varieties of Illicium griffithii Hook. f. et Thorns, harvested in Vietnam was investigated using Carbon-13 NMR spectroscopy and GC. The main components were safrole for the first variety, safrole and methyl eugenol for the second one.
