Abstract
Analysis of the leaf oil of Aegle marmelos (L.) Correa, Rutaceae, by capillary GC and GC/MS resulted in the identification of 35 components comprising 99.6% of the total oil. The oil was constituted mainly of monoterpene compounds (93.6%), α-phellandrene (39–2%), limonene (26.8%),βP-phellandrene (16.2%) and α-pinene (6.6%) were the major constituents found.
