The Essential Oil of Semenovia suffruticosa (Freyn et Bornm.) Manden

Abstract

The essential oil of the aerial parts of Semenovia suffruticosa (Freyn et. Bornm.) Manden, which is a native plant of Iran, has been analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The major constituents were linalool (13–9%), lavandulyl acetate (11.5%), (E)-β-ocimene (8.6%), terpinen-4-ol (7.7%) and lavandulol (6.6%).
