Abstract
The leaf oils of two varieties of Eucalyptus camaldulensis growing in Nigeria were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The quantitatively significant constituents in die leaf oil of the two E. camaldulensis varieties were β-pinene (9.0–17.5%), 1,8-cineole (32.8–70.4%), (Z)-β-ocimene (11.6%) and α-pinene (8.8%). Monoterpenoids also made up the bulk of the two volatile oils (89.0–95.7%).
