Abstract
The oil of Lallemantia peltata (L.) Fisch. et Mey. (Labiatae) obtained by Simultaneous Distillation-Kxtraction (SDE) using Likens-Nickerson apparatus, was analyzed by GC/MS. Thirteen compounds were identified representing all of the components detected. Germacrene D (27.4%), (E)-β-ocimene (20.1%) and geijerene (12.0%) were the major constituents of the oil.
