Abstract
The chemical composition of the fruit oil of Amomum testaceum isolated by hydrodistillation was analyzed by capillary GC, GC/MS, IR and 1H-NMR. The main constituents found in the oil were β-pinene (15.9%), 1,8-cineole (12.7%), fenchone (14.9%), tams-pinocarveol (10.9%), myrtenal (12.7%) and myrtenol (16.1%).
