Essential Oil from the Leaves of Aristolochia odoratissima L.

Abstract

The volatile constituents from the leaves of Aristolochia odoratissima were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Fifty two components were identified which account for 87.8% of the mixture. The major constituents were germacrene D (16.3%), (E)-phytol (10.1%), β-eudesmol (7.0%), and δ-cadinene(6.9%).
