Abstract
The essential oil composition of Salvia moorcraftiana from Kashmir, India was examined by GC and GC/MS. Eighteen components were characterized with linalool (26.9%), caryophyllene oxide (9.3%), 2-methyloctadecane (8.0%),/rans-p-menth-2-en-l-ol (5.9%) and geranyl acetate (5.8%) as major constituents.
