Abstract
A water distilled oil from the aerial parts of Achillea sieheana Stapf (Compositae), an endemic species in Turkey, was analyzed by GC/MS. Enantiomerically pure (1S)(−)-camphor (39.9%) was identified as a main constituent in the oil using a multidimensional GC/MS system.
