Abstract

Training in supervision is an essential part of service delivery education, yet it has not received the attention and emphasis it deserves in many service delivery fields. Interest in supervision for applied sport psychology has emerged only in the last few years. This paper presents issues relevant to supervision in sport psychology service delivery and discusses models of supervision training including individual, peer, and meta-supervision processes within a prototype Practicum course.
