Abstract
13C hyperfine structure associated with the OK1 centre found in type Ib natural diamond has been identified and the 13C hyperfine parameters have been determined. Implications of the results for the electronic structure of OK1 are discussed. ESEEM spectra for the N3 centre are also presented. The results are in good agreement with previous ENDOR studies of hyperfine couplings for this centre, and indicate that ESEEM is a potentially useful technique for studying paramagnetic centres in diamond.
