Abstract
The Fourth International Bioerosion Workshop was held in autumn 2004 in Prague, Czech Republic. More than two dozen participants presented their research and visited local outcrops during the four-day event. Presentations at the workshop highlighted the ever-increasing significance of bioerosion research in addressing scientific problems in a wide range of biological and geological topics.
