Abstract
A right sauropod manual impression from the Upper Hauterivian‐Lower Barremian (Early Cretaceous) of the Cansiglio Plateau (Carnic Pre‐Alps, NE Italy) is the first sauropod footprint from the Cretaceous of Italy. The described footprint is similar to the well known Brontopodus manus prints from the Lower Cretaceous of U.S.A., but differs in the shape of digit I, which is not round as is the case of the American ichnogenus.
