Abstract

A simple and selective oxidative deprotection of trimethylsilyl ethers to carbony1 compounds is described that occurs on PdCl2(PhCN)2-CrO3 and bis(trimethylsily1) chromate under solvent free conditions and is expedited by microwave irradiation.
