Abstract

A series of methyl-( g -cyanoethyl) cyclotri-, tetra-, and pentasiloxanes has been prepared using oxygen-halogen exchange between silicon and tin in the reaction of f , y -dichloro(methyl- g -cyanoethyl)oligosiloxanes with bis-tri-n-butylstannyloxy-diorganosilanes.
