Synthesis and Mechanism Studies on Amide Bond Formation by Hexamethylphosphoramide (HMPA)

Abstract

In this paper, hexamethylphosphoramide (HMPA) was used as the organic phosphorus coupling reagent for the synthesis of amide bond. The reaction mechanism was tracked and investigated through 31P NMR.
