Abstract
A series of bis- and tetra(phosphinoxymethyl)diamines was synthesized in a three-component Kabachnik-Fields reaction starting from a phosphinic acid, formaldehyde, and a diamine. The extracting properties of some selected novel compounds have been studied. Significant diminishing of the amino group basicity in the final products was found.
