Towards Heteronuclear Triple Bonds Involving Silicon or Germanium

Abstract

The thermal stability of stannylated phosphanosilanes/germanes has been explored, where chlorostannane elimination should yield multiply bonded systems. Although destannylation occurs, the resulting products are hydrophosphanes and polymeric materials.
