Synthesis of (P^III, P^III)-, (P^III, P^V)-, (P^III, P^IV)-, (P^IV, P^V)-, and (P^V, P^V)-Diphosphorus-Containing Compounds Based on 1,2,3- and 1,2,4-Trihydroxybenzenes

Abstract

The data on the phosphorylation of 1,2,3 and 1,2,4-trihydroxybenzenes phosphorus trichloride are presented. The reactivity of 4(5)-(dichlorophosphinyloxy)benzo-1,3,2-dioxaphospholes relative to phosphorus pentachloride, sulfuryl chloride, and 3,6-di(tert-butyl)-1,2-benzoquinone was studied. Phosphorylated derivatives of pyrogallol and oxyhydroquinone containing two phosphorus atoms in coordination (P^III, P^III), (P^III, P^V), (P^III, P^IV), (P^IV, P^V), and (P^V, P^V) were prepared.
