ABSTRACT
1,5-Diazadiphosphacyclooctanes are a type of ligands which are widely used in the catalytic or luminescent complexes construction. The condensation reaction is a main synthetic route to the obtaining of these ligands. These route is a convenient way, but the utilization of the primary phosphines or amines is limited by the availability of the amines or stability of phoshines. Thus we suggest another way for the design of ligands with desired properties, which is based on the cross-coupling reactions between 1,5-diaza-3,7-diphosphacyclooctanes containing p-iodophenyl groups and corresponding substrates for the Suzuki, Ullmann or Sonogashira cross-coupling.
