ABSTRACT
The deoxygenation of phosphine oxides was studied on a series of model reactions using an aralkylsilane, arylsilanes, diarylsilanes, a disiloxane, a polysiloxane, and a disilane under solvent-free, thermal, or microwave-assisted conditions. The deoxygenations were optimized, and the reactivity of the silanes was evaluated. User-friendly accomplishments were elaborated.
