ABSTRACT

The synthesis of pyrrolo[1,2-b][1,2]benzothiazin-10-ones was accomplished from the reaction of N-pyrrolylsulfenylbenzoyl chlorides with Lewis acids. One step synthesis of the pyrrolo[1,2]benzothiazin-10-ones from N-sulfenylbenzoic acids was possible by using condensation reagents under microwave irradiation conditions.
