The sulfinyl group: Its importance for asymmetric synthesis and biological activity

Abstract

Most important examples of the application of the sulfinyl moiety as the crucial (essential) group both in chiral enantiomeric ligands/catalysts and in biologically active compounds are selected from the Authors’ works and briefly discussed.
