New porous Fe(III)-based ferrocene-containing diphosphinate

Abstract

Porous aerogel has been synthesized using ferrocene-based ligand bearing phosphinic groups (H₂fcdHp = 1,1′-ferrocenediyl-bis(H-phosphinic acid)). Fe-fcdHp was obtained in a sol–gel approach followed by supercritical CO₂ drying. The N₂ adsorption properties of the aerogel were investigated.
