Synthesis of chiral phosphonobenzaldehydes and phosphonotyrosine

Abstract

A method for preparation of chiral phosphonobenzaldehydes has been developed. 1-hydroxyphosphonates by reaction with (diethylamino)trifluorosulfurane were converted into chiral 4-(1-fluoromethyl)phosphonobenzaldehydes. The chiral phosphonobenzaldehydes were used for the synthesis of phosphotyrosine analogues.
