Diorganotin(IV) Dialkyl Dithiophosphates: Synthesis and Spectral Studies of Diorgano (Hydroxo)Tin(IV) Dialkyldithiophosphates

Abstract

Complexes of the type [R₂Sn(OH)(SSP(OR')₂] (R = Et, Prⁿ, Buⁿ R' = Et, Prⁿ, Prⁱ) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses and IR and NMR spectroscopy. These complexes are associated in the solid state probably through hydroxo-bridges whereas in solution they exist in equilibrium with monomeric species.
