Direct Sulfonylation of Aromatic Rings with Aryl or Alkyl Sulfonic Acid Using Supported P₂O₅/Al₂O₃

Direct sulfonylation of aromatic rings with aryl or alkyl sulfonic acid supported P₂O₅/Al₂O₃ (w/w 50%) under heterogeneous conditions in short reaction time and high yields.
