A new synthesis's process of carbonated apatite with antiseptic property was developed by the reaction of precipitation between a calcium carbonate suspension and an orthophosphoric acid solution, both prepared in a 30% hydrogen peroxide. The characterization of this apatite and the study of its thermal stability were carried out by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and chemical analysis.
