A Novel Synthesis of Hydrazine Derivatives via a Three-Component Procedure

A series of hydrazine derivatives containing an ylide moiety is obtained from a reaction of acetylenic esters with N-substituted aryl hydrazine in the presence of triphenylphosphine in ethyl acetate as a solvent in good yields.
