Abstract

Substituent influence on the efficiencies of a series of aryl thiosulfinates in inhibiting the polymerization of methyl methacrylate, representative of vinyl monomers, has been examined. Attention is drawn to the role of the sulfinyl group in reactions of organosulfur compounds.
