Abstract
The synthesis of diorganostannyl bis(O-alkylphosphonates) R2SnOP(O)H(OR') is described. The compounds 1–15 (R=Me, n-Bu, t-Bu, Oct, Bz; R'=Me, Et, i-Prop) have been obtained by reaction of diorganodichlorostannanes R2SnCI2 with dialkylphosphonates HP(O)(OR')2 without of any or in polar organic solvents at higher temperature. The reaction proceeds in water at a temperature of about 90°C as well. The nmr spectra of 1–15 show hexacoordinate tin species. The ligands are all-trans arranged in the coordination polyhedron with distortions depending on R shown by IR data.
