Abstract
The synthesis of O-alkyl-O'-triorganostannylphosphonates R3SnOP(O)H(OR') is described. The compounds 1–3 (a-d) (R=Ph, Cy, Bu; R'=Me, Et, i-Pr, Bu) have been prepared by reaction of dialkylphosphonates with triorganotin hydroxides in toluene or benzene at higher temperature. The same products have been obtained by interaction of the phosphonates with hexaorgano distannoxanes without any solvents in an exothermic reaction or with triorganoalkoxystannanes in toluene at higher temperature. The interaction of dialkylphosphonates with triorganostannyl-oxygen derivatives seems to be a general synthetic pathway for obtaining O-alkyl-O'-triorganostannylphosphonates.
